A Bold 10-Year Anniversary Session | Jacksonville Couples Boudoir Photography
Ten years of marriage deserves more than dinner reservations and a gift card.
Mr. and Mrs. J wanted something unforgettable, bold, intimate, and completely theirs. What started as a solo boudoir idea turned into a full couples experience that celebrated not just their anniversary, but their confidence, chemistry, and connection.
From playful kink-inspired moments to soft, sheet-wrapped intimacy and even a last-minute cosplay look we pulled together on the fly, this Jacksonville coupleβs boudoir photography session was proof that your experience can be anything you want it to be.
Fun. Emotional. Empowering. A little spicy. Completely personal.
And by the end of it? What started as nerves turned into pure awe.
What made you decide to do a boudoir session?
I decided I wanted to do something unique, fun and very special to celebrate my hubby and Iβs 10 year wedding anniversary. I had already been debating on doing a boudoir session at some point because I wanted to try to see my body in a different way. So when the Black Friday sale came around, I just went for it! After getting in on the sale, I then talked with my hubby about doing a couples boudoir. I thought it would be amazing to have those special photos done in celebration of 10 years and he agreed. We decided that we would also include a solo shoot for just me to hopefully help me love my body a little more.
What made you decide to hire me as your photographer?
I found Tiffany through TikTok, then Instagram, then Facebook. I just fell down a rabbit hole of seeing all her work. I loved all the things she was doing and really wanted an opportunity to have her be my photographer. That was over a year ago. I booked her to do a couples cosplay session for us in January 2022 and those pictures were great! I just knew I wanted her to be our boudoir photographer as well!!
How did you feel about the consultation?
The consultation went great. We touched on all the things I was interested in and Tiffany gave a good run down of what to expect in the day. She gave me great pointers on clothing options and what to look for. The consultation makes having a shoot coming up feel more real!
How were you feeling the week leading up to your session?
Excited and nervous! I always worry about how things will go. I was nervous I would end up looking like a blob or that I wouldn't like my photos. I was hoping I was wrong but I hadn't been able to loose any weight prior to the shoot like I had originally planned when I booked it. So that made me worried and unsure of how it would look in the end.
Now that you've had your own photo shoot, how was it?
AMAZING!!!! I had so much fun! We laughed and took great photos! Even my husband was comfortable! It was like spending the day with a friend who just happens to be taking sexy photos for you! 100000/10 would do again and highly recommend!
How did you feel about having your hair and makeup done?
I was glad someone else was doing my hair and make up. I am usually just a get up and go kind of girl. The only time I really do my make up is for cosplay. As for hair, I wear wigs for cosplay and on a day to day basis its usually in a ponytail or just wild woman hair.
Is there anything I could do that would make this experience completely perfect?
Anything to make the experience completely perfect? Well in my opinion it was completely perfect. I think the only thing that could have added more to the perfectness is doing it again!
Any other thoughts or suggestions you'd like to tell me about?
I would like to encourage anyone and everyone to do a boudoir shoot! I have gone through my photos multiple times so far and I love them more each time! I love how my body actually looks good in my eyes! Not just having someone tell me I look good but actually seeing it myself!
What was going through your head seeing your images for the first time?
When we were sitting down to go through the images I definitely was back to being a little nervous. Tiffany had given us a couple sneak peeks during the shoot so I knew some pictures were amazing already. I was still worried about how I would see myself in the pictures. But as we started going through them by worry turned to awe. Pure awe. I couldn't believe some of the pictures I was seeing were me!
Do you feel like the flow I did during the reveal helped you?
The reveal flow was great. Being able to see all the pictures and then being able to see them again after the first initial shock is great. When we scrolled through the first time I was more just taking them in. Hubby seemed to absorb them all the first time through haha.
βLearning to love my body has been one of the most difficult things I have ever tried to do. People always say I don't look as big as I say I am or I carry my weight well. And sure, I probably do. But when I look in the mirror, I see a blob. At least, I did. This photo shoot was probably one of the best things I could have done. My hubby encouraged me to do it and he even said "I think you will get a lot more out of this than you are expecting." He was right. My photos are amazing. They are me. Not photoshopped, not covered up, not blurred. They are me. I'm not gonna lie, when I booked my session months prior I had all intentions of losing a chunk of weight before the session. Well that didn't happen due to sickness and aftermath.
So... bring us to the week before I was all nerves and worry. But when we started shooting I got comfortable after probably the first like 10 photos maybe. Hubby picked up on my change of mood and was able to point it out to me. We did my solo set first to kinda get the nerves out and it worked. Then taking photos with my hubby was just easy. Tiffany was great! We all made each other laugh which of course made some of the more "serious" photos harder to do! haha!
I am so thankful we did this couples boudoir. I feel good about myself. I love having these special photos of my husband and I. They are just amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and honestly can't wait to work with Tiffany again!β -Mrs. J
What I love most about this session isnβt just the chemistry or the creativity.
Itβs the shift.
Mrs. J walked in worried about how she would look. She walked out seeing herself differently. Not through someone elseβs reassurance, but through her own eyes.
And the fact that she now has images that celebrate ten years of marriage, laughter, intimacy, and growth? Thatβs something theyβll carry forever.
Thatβs what Jacksonville couplesβ boudoir photography is really about.
Itβs not just sexy photos.
Itβs connection.
Itβs confidence.
Itβs choosing to celebrate your relationship in a way that feels bold and unapologetically yours.
